How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who contacts Slightlyuseful Tree Service to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what to expect. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics We Can Hear
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Slightlyuseful Tree Service
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own quotes, pricing, work, and customer service. If something goes wrong with tree work at your property, first raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record.
Please tell us too. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Note that Slightlyuseful Tree Service cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@slightlyuseful.garden and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Send It
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will review what happened. That may include contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
Reply and ask us to take another look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. If the issue involves a licensed contractor, your state or local licensing office may be able to help.
